I was getting kind of tired of this wall.
It just didn’t sit well with me. I was a little disappointed that it didn’t turn out as good as Leanne’s wall.
Isn’t hers pretty, organized, and symmetrical?
So I took it all down.
And I did this:
Put the kids’ artwork on the sidewall leading to the laundry area and garage.
I like how it looks here, plus it works better on this smaller wall since the art doesn’t get lost on this wall.
And the bonus is that I see the artwork more often, and that makes me smile.
It makes this corner feel so much cooler and cozy all at the same time. I tell you, kid’s artwork is the best deal out there as it costs next to nothing (frame not included) and it makes the kids feel special.
So this is how the wall looks now, a little bare, I know, but I like it so much better since I felt it was a little cluttered before. And I tucked this mirror in that infamous landing of the stairway.
I just painted it with some Heirloom White spray paint and it pops so much more.
