So I mentioned a few weeks back that my neighbor was giving away some old plant holders and I was glad to help her out because THAT’S WHAT GOOD NEIGHBORS DO.
Then they sat in my garage for all of June and most of July.
Until one day when I was cleaning out the garage, I noticed the pots sitting high up on a shelf all alone, all lonely like.
So I brought them in the house, cleaned them out and did this with them:
I just added fake plants to them and voila!
I love the galvanized look against the green of the plant!
Then yesterday I was at a local big box store with Annie school supply shopping and I spotted these bad boys in the home/garage sale/sign area:
Self-adhesive numbers!
So these guys were five bucks and while it wasn’t a needed purchase, I ended up buying them because I knew that I could do something with them!
I came home and it took me all of three hours of sitting on my kitchen counter glaring at me to figure out how I was gonna use them.
I love the number 4 because it is the size of our little family.
Perfect for crayons!
This is so cute! Thanks for linking up to my party!Kaitlin-The Not So Simple Housewifehttp://notsosimplehousewife.blogspot.com
