Four Ingredient Recipes- White Castle Cheeseburgers

I found this recipe in my daughter’s school PTO cookbook recently.
I love a good PTO cookbook, and I have made the best recipes since we got it in February.
I had to tweak this one to fit our needs and also to make it a four-ingredient recipe.
But I made these last week and they are to. die. for.
My kids didn’t eat them however because I have unusual eaters.
The four-year-old doesn’t like hamburgers of any kind and the 12-year-old doesn’t like it when the cheese is mixed in with ground beef. Sigh.
Oh well, more for Mike and me.
Not like we need to eat more.
But we are up for the cause if need be.

 White Castle Cheeseburgers

1- 1 pound 80/20 ground beef
2- 1 small jar cheez whiz
3- 1 package of small rolls
4- dill pickle slices
extras: the recipe calls for an onion soup mix, but I didn’t use that. Instead, I added garlic powder, onion flakes, and salt to taste.
Brown the beef and drain.
Preheat oven to 350.
Add the spices and cheez whiz and combine thoroughly.
Take off the heat and spread the beef mixture onto each bun.
Top with a pickle slice and the top half of the bun.
Place on a cookie sheet and top with foil.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until buns are crusty.
Oh, sweet heavens, these are so damn good.
You could serve these for appetizers, for Super Bowl Sunday, for a BBQ, or for the main dish.
I made them for a Friday night dinner and served them with baked beans and fries.

I could have eaten these alone.

Head here for more four-ingredient recipes.
