I don’t.
Have too much time on my hands, to be clear.
But my John Hughes addiction never sleeps.
Never. Sleeps.
And yours shouldn’t either which is why I am sharing with you something that I have kept secret for a very long time.
I have an Apple Music playlist dedicated to songs from John Hughes movies.
Did you hear that?
That was the sound of my readers everywhere slamming their laptops.
WAIT! I SWEAR I AM NOT CRAZY!
Okay, I am but I want to drag you along for the ride and if you slam your computer shut, you aren’t able to come.
In all seriousness, there was some great music in his movies. Some would say music that was ahead of its time. Lots of great new wave, oldies and some pop thrown in that when you listen to it now, it takes you back to your teenage years.
For example, when you hear this song what do you think of:
See? You really need a John Hughes playlist in your life.
Three words: hurricanes, nuclear bombs, Equifax.
*not every song will be in these playlists because I really don’t have that much time on my hands. Also, some aren’t available for licensing reasons. Click on the song titles and it takes you to Amazon Music (affiliate link). *

So she is actually my favorite part of the movie, but the movie itself isn’t my favorite. And Lea Thompson is just icky in this one.
Have you ever seen Fried Green Tomatoes?? OMG, I LOVE MSM in that one.
