My Top Seven Blog Names If I Ever Start Another Blog

I’m not starting another blog because I can barely come up with enough interesting content for the ONE I already have.

But over the past eight years, I have in passing mentioned THAT WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT BLOG NAME or IF I EVER START A NICHE BLOG I WOULD USE THE HELL OUT OF THAT NAME.

I am not a niche person though, which is why I can’t create a niche blog.

My thoughts are all over the place constantly.

Like a hamster on speed.

Speaking of hamsters, meet the newest member of our family, Nibbles.

I didn’t think I could love a rodent, but I am falling.

So, if you’re a blogger looking for a name for your new blog (the most difficult part of blogging, in my opinion), I’ve got you covered.

Recently, one of my blogging friends (go read her blog here) titled an Instagram picture with a future blog name when she and I collaborate.

So of course, I took the time to make a graphic for our new blog:

It’s not good unless your name is Kelly.

I also get random inspiration from my blog’s comments section.

That is, if you leave a comment, I automatically reserve the right to use it in a blog post.

My friend Rita (go read her blog here), is a regular commenter on my blog and I on hers.

I feel like if I had a radio show, she’d be the frequent caller who I would always press the applause button for when she called in.

So Rita mentioned something about “low bar” and I was all BLOG NAME!

Should be mine, if I’m being honest.

There is this AMAZING website where I am now going to be spending all of my free time called Name Generator.

You enter in specific words very Mad Libs-esque and it pops out possible blog names for you!

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.

Here are some of my possible suggestions::

I am changing my blog name.

If this doesn’t sum up my entire day in three words, nothing else will.

  1. OMG, I am CRYING over here! Thanks for the shout out and when you’re ready for a low bar collab blog, I’m all over it. 😀 But I swear Eat. Fart. Sing. is like the BEST blog name ever and had me laughing so hard I had to put the laptop down so I didn’t need a Poise pad or something. Sigh, I have actual blog work to do so I should probably stop dorking off. (HA…like that’ll happen. I think it’s no coincidence that when I was recently reading a book and the next chapter was “how to push through procrastination”, I literally placed my post it bookmark there and didn’t read it for a week.)

      1. Low Bar S’Mores

        1 stale sheet of graham cracker (found behind the sealed bags that you didn’t know were there)
        4 chocolate kisses found between the cushions of the couch
        63 mini marshmallows from your child’s cereal box.

        Pile kisses on half sheet and put mini mallows wherever they’ll fit. Place in microwave for 30 seconds or until chocolate and mallows merge into a culinary nightmare. Top with other stale graham sheet. Pairs well with 2 week old flat wine that has cork floating on top.

        Boom…low brow s’mores!

  3. Kari! You totally made my day. And it was the first day back to for-reals, full-time work, so I needed something to make my day. Although, now I may need to change my blog’s name to Norm’s Notebook. Which totally sounds better. Off to explore the blog name generator (rather than work on the post I’ve been farting around with for weeks). Oh, and I vote for Eat Fart Sing. No contest. 🙂

  12. Thank you so much for the smiles and laughs; I needed this post today! Though after just changing my blog name I am NEVER doing that again. LOL. I’ve learned from past mistakes that multiple blogs is not the way to go… I forgot for like 6 months that I had attempted to start a second blog and it had a pitiful 4 posts on it.

    1. You just reminded me that I had another blog once too! I don’t even remember the name of it and I don’t even remember what it was for! I was the same way! I think it was for recipes or something like that, then I forgot I had it and ended up deleting it altogether. 😂
