Screw It, I’m Eating Tater Tots- Episode 27

If you’re new to my blog, here is an explanation for my tater tot posts.

It’s almost summer! I’m getting used to block editor! We got a puppy!

Wait whuttt?

Biscuits and Gravy

Meet Biscuits

He wasn’t planned. In fact, we didn’t even know he existed until 24 hours before he arrived. I explained how we got him on Friday’s podcast, but I didn’t tell you that his brother lives down the street with my friend Kristen! In fact, she is the reason Biscuits is in our lives.

Family

We bring the puppy brothers together several times a week, and they enjoy playing and snuggling together.

Buddy is an exceptional big brother.

Having a new puppy is exhausting, but man, we already love him so much.

What I’m Reading

I feel like I’m no longer interesting because all I do is clean, hold a puppy, occasionally write, and read books.

Looks like I manifested my dream life.

I’m not complaining.

Here is what I’m currently reading.

What I’m watching

Mike and I discovered this travel vlog a few weeks ago. This travel video of a young couple on their honeymoon to Ireland is movie-quality. After watching, we felt as if we’d been to Ireland. After the year we’ve had, I thought you’d enjoy it as well.

This documentary about Pink and her family was lovely.

The Villages in Florida is the setting for this movie. If you enjoy character studies, this is an excellent film to watch. It’s free for Hulu subscribers.

    1. Not sure if you have Netflix but there is an episode of Unsolved Mysteries in season two about Tsunami Spirits that is so emotional. It is very much like the Phone of the Wind; very moving. The entire episode had me in tears.

  1. Thanks for the shoutout. You know I love the new pup. He’s adorable. I want to see the documentary about Pink, so will add it to me list of TBW. [Is that a thing? If I have a TBR list why not a TBW… 🤔]

  2. Oh, the puppy . . . and the puppy brothers are neighbors. So fun. Love the name. Is the brother named Gravy? How cute would that be?

That photo of Buddy just screams: YOU GUYS MUST BE JOKING. HE’S IN THERE AND I’M LOCKED OUT? WHAT’S GOING ON HERE? 😉

I do like Pink and I didn’t know about the documentary. A must watch. The chainsaw link . . . well, I didn’t click on it, but I crossed my legs instinctively when I read the premise. Yowza.

I would love for doing nothing to be a lost art. I might have to read up and figure out if that can be my new mantra. Laundry and driving be damned.

Good luck leading the busy life of the mama of a tiny, adorable puppy. I see lots of blog material in your future.

    1. Gravy is requested by Ella as the next dog’s name. I told her, we won’t be getting a “next dog” for a LONG time. 🙂

Lol all though that picture was more about Biscuits wanting outside to be with Buddy. They are becoming friends slowly. They now play with each other several times a day. This has become my saving grace. It gets me an extra 30 minutes a day to do things around the house. I feel like I have a toddler again…nap when the baby naps etc.. holy hell. I forgot how hard a puppy was. But he is such a joy, honestly. I SWEAR HE IS SUCH A JOY. LMAO

That chainsaw link is something I’ve held onto for months. I had to know it so all of you have to know it too. 🙂

I love that book. I am learning a lot. I might discuss it on a podcast.

  3. Puppy. Puppies. Buddy. So much goodness here. I know it’s exhausting and I think I said it already, there’s nothing like your girls having a puppy from birth to the end–SO many memories for them to enjoy.
The Ireland doc looks so cool and soothing to watch; sign me up.
I love Michael Kiwanuka’s music; also soothing and calm.
Chainsaws for birth. I can’t. I can’t even click the link. Nope. NOPE.
I make my broccoli similar to this and it is always freaking yummy.
I had no idea I could make my avocado ripen like that….COOL!
I still can’t grasp the Michelin thing; so random.
