If you’re new to my blog, welcome! Here is an explanation of the tater tot post.
So many of you encouraged me to join Goodreads. I’m already in love with it.
I’ve created a profile, so please follow me so that I may follow you back. That way, I’ll be able to know which books you like, dislike, and so on! At least I think that’s how it works.
This is the type of social media I can get behind. 🙂
Kristen and I finished the book on Friday.
I recorded a podcast a few weeks ago but didn’t publish because it was too raw. It was more of a therapeutic self-discussion to encourage myself to keep swimming in the face of the impending self-publishing process.
I’ve done a little more research, and it appears I have two options: do it all by myself, piece by piece or, as I’m discovering, hire an indie publishing house to do it for me. There is a publishing company that I’m holding out for as an alternative. It’s very expensive, but I’m not sure if it’s the best choice. I wish I had a mentor or a self-publishing guru who could advise me.
Will you please keep me and my book in your thoughts through the month of September?
I needed a change.
According to my teenager, it’s a “wolf cut.”
It’s a “modern shag,” according to what I asked for.
For those of us old enough to remember, it’s also known as “the Rachel.”
The length is still the same, but because my hair is so thick, it was growing out rather than down. Especially with the August humidity. I’m having fun playing around with it, and I’m also having fun looking ten years younger. Who knew a haircut could do that?
Everyone but me, apparently.
What I’ve Been Reading
The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron– I just finished this after taking a month to work through this. For those of you who suggested this book after reading about my soul homework and thinking it sounded very similar? Thank you. I’m eternally grateful.

Happy September, my friends. 🙂
