Replying to @hauseofzano she was also telling yesterday that the tree queen has entrusted her and her little sister to take care of the baby tree of the spring each year. And that If they come back each year before turning 10 they will be able to keep seeing the tree people forever! #childsmind #treepeople #nugetofwisdom

  1. Kari, I have to honest and say that I don’t spend social media time on Tik Tok. I don’t know why, but it just never appealed to me. However, I will say that I will occasionally find a few mixed in on Instagram and have watched them; most of them being ones where people are dancing, or playing an instrument.

In the ones you’ve shared here, I really liked akcrucial – that was so beautiful and took me by surprise. I also liked johnnybanana. As well as Ram Dass. Back in the 80s I read several of his books.

Once again, thank you for sharing your interests. I find them interesting!

Have a faaaaaaaabulous weekend, my friend!

    1. Rebecca, my dear friend, is very much like you. She watches TikTok’s Instagram reels but hasn’t joined TikTok. Yet. 😂

I found the TikTok by akcrucial just a day before learning that a former friend of mine had died, so it is very close to my heart.

I love Ram Dass. I’m now reading You Are the Universe, a graphic novel about/written by him. It is fantastic.

Thank you, as always, for reading, watching, and leaving such kind comments.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend! 😘

  2. I’m with Ron. I haven’t caught the Tik Tok bug but I browsed through your links and I was totally surprised by the content! Some more memorable than others! And your podcast rocks. You’ve inspired me to look into podcasting even if I just read my blog and repost it in podcast land. I love how you share your interests and inspire me to stretch myself. You’re something of a hero in my book! Hugs, C

  3. I’ve never gotten into TikTok, but I have to say, after looking at some of these I’m impressed with how creative people get.

Some people, anyway. I wouldn’t know what to do on there. I’m more of an Instagram guy myself.

  4. My husband LOVES Tiktok, which cracks me up because it’s the only social media account he has. He impressed everyone at Christmas with two fancy appetizers he made from Tiktok videos he watched. He also harassed all of us with the infamous corn song all summer.

I’m not such a fan. I find it irritating that I always have to unmute it and then if I miss the video, there’s no back button. I just don’t understand how it works, or maybe it’s an ipad thing. But like others have said, I did sign up after seeing a hilarious video on Instagram that someone posted. It was Devrie Brynn doing her Flowerscope series. She claims to be a florist and she describes people’s personalities based on their favorite flower. It is soooo good. And I’m embarrassed to admit that my favorite flower is the white calla lily after watching what she has to say about me. I’ll have to go back and watch the videos again, as it’s been a while.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  5. I’m on TikTok and I never stumble over anything as clever as the things you share here. In fact I rarely go there because no one I know seems to be there. If you look for me, theoretically you could follow me, I guess. I have yet to figure out how it is a “social” media nor have I shared anything because who is there to see it? For me, it’s a lonely space.
