My oldest daughter Anna knows I write a blog and has never asked me to stop or not to write about her.
She has told me that she is proud of me and that makes me so happy because teenagers are brutally honest.
They don’t care if they hurt your feelings, truth be told and I mean that in the best possible way.
Teenagers can be really hard but man, at the end of this, I will be so sad when she leaves to go to college.
I love her so much.
So today, I am honored to share my oldest daughter for the first time on my blog.
I hope this isn’t the only time she hangs out here.
I am pretty sure it won’t be.
What one thing annoys you about Oprah the least?
Uhhh, I don’t watch her. She’s funny?
If you don’t watch her, how do you know if she is funny?
Who is your favorite family member? Why?
My mom because I love her. Wait, what did Ella say?
Mamie and Papa.
Oh yeah, them. Well, you AND them. Oh just say you since she already said them.
Ella chirping in the background “you can’t use my answer, Anna!!“
Anna- OMG Ella, you are so annoying.
Do you see why I need to write a blog? And drink?
What is your favorite blog and why? (not mine)
I do not follow any blogs.
Ella in the background again- “I said YouTube. Use that one.”
For the last time. YOUTUBE ISN’T A BLOG.
What holiday food item would you take a bath in if no one was looking?
Mashed potatoes.
I have sore hands to prove this one. My girl loves her some mashed taters.
What one present do you hope to receive this year?
I don’t knowwwwwww…..clothes?
I hope I receive some too, hint hint.
If you only had the money to make one holiday dish this season, which one?
Mashed potatoes.
Peel, boil, put in the mixer, add milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
It sounds easier than it is.
Really, the peeling part is the hardest part but it is completely worth it.
What one celebrity is your absolute favorite?
Justin Bieber.
Well, duh.
If you could have your own television show, what would YOU give to your guests as your big giveaway?
I don’t know, money?
Ella again, “money? That sounds lame. I chose that they would get to spend the WHOLE DAY WITH ME!“
Money is SO last year.
What one thing (besides any religious beliefs) is your favorite part of the holiday season?
I LOVE CHRISTMAS! Getting presents and listening to Christmas music by the fire and drinking hot chocolate……she then begins to sing Jingle Bell Rock while Ella starts giggling uncontrollably and saying HELP ME. I am not making this up.
If you could say one word to describe my blog, what would it be?
Amazing.
That is because she doesn’t read it.
Thank you to my funny and amazing teenager for helping me with my latest installment.
This has been so much fun to have you all get to know my family members.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get to peelin’ some potatoes.
Again.
