Podcast #9- It’s Birthday Week!

Mike and I celebrated my birthday a little early by having a podcast party Friday night. So enjoy this podcast in place of a post where we talk about:

-a recent addition to my podcast

-my sweet grandma and a Google search that made me cry

-there’s a mannequin living in my home

-a rambling review about a 40 minute documentary we recently watched (now you don’t need to watch it)

-a penis doll

And much more.

Also, WE WERE DRINKING.

I will be back with a regular post next Monday, a tater tot post…. because IT’S GONNA BE MAY.

  1. You now have another listener! :) I used to record a podcast, and bought a microphone too. It makes a HUGE difference. I ended up getting a boom for it too – to avoid it picking up desk sounds etc. It’s way more difficult than anybody tells you, isn’t it.

      I also need to begin recording in a room without a cathedral ceiling and wood floors. :)
      I did notice a difference with the microphone though so hopefully, that will make a difference. But yes, it is much more difficult than I thought it would be! But I do love it. :)

    1. Aww. Yes, they both look like me especially when they were little. Anna looks a lot like her dad now. Ella still looks a lot like me and so much like her namesake, my grandma. ❤️

    The microphone is working great.
    So funny about the mannequin hand.
    I AM NOT a cruise person. I noticed that documentary on HBO but haven’t watched it yet.
    C’mon Mike, even I knew GREEN was Kari’s favorite color.
    Tom Cruise? How funny!
    Laughing about eye color! The Coach tried to convince me for many years that my eyes are hazel when they are actually GREEN. Now it’s a joke between us.

  7. I agree with you about TikTok, I just found out that the top drawer of my dishwasher drops down to fit taller things! What?! I have had it for three years and I would never have known that it dropped down like that! What is Mike’s name on TikTok?

    We have the same shoe size! Also, you two are amazing, I hope you continue to do podcasts together :)
