Do you ever worry that your pain will never go away?

Speaking of water, this is the most impressive demonstration of how deep the deep sea truly is.

Is there anything this month that you found interesting enough to save to your phone? Share it in the comments section with me and my friends. 🖤

I like the Ram Dass quote. He’s wisdom resonates with me. I am the observer, I get that.

I love that quote too.

I never know where to put my hands when someone is taking a photo of me. Awkward! What roller coaster and where were you riding it in 2015?
I loved the Ram Dass quote about going out of your mind to use your head. That’s perfect. Is that your handwriting because if so, I also love that. Your photos of the colored lights glowing in the evening warms me right up.
I’m truly not a shopper, but I enjoy walking on paved walkways like your picture outside those shops. Just walk around and window shop on a nice day. NOT today though, as our Air Quality Index is 270 and it is hazy and smells awful outside. This is the first day I’ve actually smelled the wildfires.
I enjoyed the voyage to the bottom of the sea. But now I’m worried about eating 200 year old Orange Roughy.

I have the same feelings about my hands. I’m afraid I’ll look angry if I cross them across my chest. I’m not, I just don’t know what else to do with them!
That was the Mine Ride at Cedar Point! Ella was with my dear friend’s dad, who passed away a few years ago. ❤️
That is my handwriting! I like the colored lights too. It was from my lava lamp. Last year, I had three lava lamps that slowly died. Now I’m down to one, and if that one goes, I’ll go out and buy another. I love them so much.
It was Father’s Day when we were out walking. The town was Highland Park, where a mass shooting happened last July 4th. Mike’s dad worked as a police officer in that town for over 30 years. We used to go there often to walk around, eat lunch, and go to the beach. But we hadn’t been there since the shooting.
Funny story: I thought people were having bonfires all over the place until I realized it was because of the wildfires. I guess that isn’t funny.
My friend Kristen said the same thing about Orange Roughy! 😶

I have a dental condition that leads to chronic pain. I sometimes wonder what it must be like to go through a day without physical discomfort of some sort, but then I think about people who suffer from conditions much worse than mine, and I try to feel grateful for what my body can do.
The air quality where I am is currently teetering between very unhealthy and hazardous and I wore a mask on my morning walk with the dog wondering the whole time about my dog’s lungs. Should I have somehow constructed a mask for her? Would it be better if she had no walk at all? I do hope that the air quality improves soon or it’s going to be a very long summer.

I’m really sorry for the pain you are experiencing. Chronic pain is extremely difficult to live with. I’ve only recently started having back pain. It’s manageable, but as a migraine sufferer for many years, it’s just an added level of frustration.
The weather app predicted that it would be better by tomorrow afternoon. We’re also supposed to get rain tonight, which I hope happens because we desperately need it.

I just made strawberry shortcake today! I like mine with angel food cake though. We had fresh strawberries from our trip to the orchard on Monday.

The bill banning book bans is brilliant. Nicely done, Illinois! I rarely save anything to my phone, so I don’t get to play along.

“I am exactly where I want to be…at home avoiding people.” I feel that way this week. The week before I had people stuff every single day.

Kari, that photo you captured of the legs sticking out of the pool is STELLAR!!
Also, I love the fabric on that chair (the one with your adorable dogs). What a faaaaabulous pattern!
“Someone drew an F in front of the Art Institute sign in Chicago and it was the best thing I saw that day.”
HYSTERICAL!!!!
I think my very favorite thing on your list, is the quote by Ram Dass. YES! YES! and YES!
One day I have to post my buddha statue collection, just to show you how MANY I have. GREAT photo!!!!
Other than a few photos, I don’t save things on my phone.
But I certain enjoy seeing what YOU save!
Have a great rest of your week, my friend! X

Ella and the pool. That should be the title of this summer. ❤️
We all laughed so hard because the stoplight placed us directly beside it.
Ram Dass was such a wonderful human being.
YES. Every time I see a Buddha statue, I think of you. Please share them with us!
I’m glad you enjoy these posts. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. It means a lot to me.
Have a wonderful week. ❤️😘

Love that you share these little snippets of your life…your beautiful home, your darling pups, funny things you’ve spotted, what you’ve read, etc with us. That TikTok video of the girls seeing their grandma got me in all the feels! The oldest girl that was crying just wouldn’t let go of her grandma. So precious.

I love sharing them with you!
I loved that video. It reminded me of how the girls would react when my parents came to visit when they lived far away. 💕

Your phone is such a good place! I love all your photos, especially the ones of your critters. What lucky beings.
And your strawberries! So happy to inspire some happy. I think you’ve already seen all the best things saved on my phone in June. Yesterday I was struggling HARD and got up early to walk and take photos. Writing is a challenge for me right now because I cannot connect my laptop to internet unless I go to the library, so photos might have to become my way of noticing and processing in the month of July.

“Your phone is such a good place!” (It truly is, Rita. ❤️) I was having a bad weekend, so seeing this on a Monday morning made me feel a lot better.
Oh, friend, the fact that you and I were both struggling hard yesterday… I wish I could give you a hug.
I’m enjoying looking at your photos. They are the unspoken words of what you are experiencing.
